Concession of Subway Network
Under the new contract for the next 12 years, with the option of an extension for 3 more years, we will reach 40 years in charge of this transcendental means of transport for the City of Buenos Aires.
Today the net has 270 escalators, 98 elevators, 8 stair lifts, 2 travelators and 2 wheelchair lift platform. Emova operates its service with different fleet: Alstom, CAF, Mitsubishi, Nagoya, Fiat-Materfer, G.E.E. and CNR.

From Operation Control Center (OCC), the maintenance and operation of the subway service is monitored and controlled. The professional team who Works there is in constant communication with personnel from traffic, rolling stock and stations, in order to minimize contingencies which might arise during the service as well as informing the user in real time about service situation. In 2015 a whole renovation of monitoring screens was carried out.
